charities & good causes
Dee supports a variety of charities and projects by raising funds and awareness. Dee considers associations with projects carefully to ensure that she is able to bring something of value to the table. These activities are diverse and range from promoting environmental initiatives to instigating the creation of weight management clubs for young people.
Dee was invited to become an ambassador for the Rising Tide Leadership Institute (RTLI) in 2012. RTLI links the performance skills and leadership development that women achieve by competing in high-technology sports with the organizational leadership excellence needed to compete and succeed in life.
RTLI use women’s participation in high-technology sports competitions to demonstrate that the process that produces consistent success in high performance teams and individuals mirrors the process for organizational excellence that will develop women leaders and equip them with skills needed to compete and succeed.
