charities & good causes

Dee supports a variety of charities and projects by raising funds and awareness. Dee considers associations with projects carefully to ensure that she is able to bring something of value to the table. These activities are diverse and range from promoting environmental initiatives to instigating the creation of weight management clubs for young people.

Toe in the Water

The tri-service initiative charity, Toe in the Water (TITW), aims to inspire the men and women who have sustained often traumatic injuries, including the loss of limbs, to move beyond their disability and to become re-inspired by life.

Having thoroughly enjoyed spending Dartmouth Week sailing with the charity beneficiaries, Dee was invited to become an Ambassador in October 2009.
